Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators
At Corestart Education Foundation, we believe that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEAM (STEM + Arts) education is crucial for preparing children for the future. Many children in Nigeria, especially those in low-income communities, lack access to quality STEM education, limiting their opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven world. Our STEM & STEAM Program is designed to bridge this gap by providing hands-on learning, mentorship, and access to resources that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
What We Are Doing Now
We currently run a mobile STEM initiative, bringing mentorship and tutoring directly to schools in underserved communities.
- School-to-School STEM Mentorship – Our team of mentors and educators visits low-income schools every month to provide hands-on STEM tutoring.
- Two-Hour STEM Sessions – We dedicate two hours per classroom each month to introduce fundamental STEM and STEAM concepts, ensuring students receive practical exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Expanding the Reach – We have successfully delivered this program to multiple schools, and we are committed to growing our impact by reaching more schools and students.
Where We Are Going
We are taking our STEM initiative to the next level by establishing a fully equipped STEM Lab—a dedicated space for students to explore technology, innovation, and creativity.
